The Chatter House

The Chatter House, a gastro pub, launched in 2013 with its first outlet at Epicuria Food Court, Nehru Place.

Askme , a leading service provider from Getit Infomedia, invited food bloggers to attend a Meet-up at The Chatter House.
The meeting started with an introductory session of what Askme is all about and soon after the introduction, followed a story telling on food with open discussions and a small photography session. We were asked to make ourselves comfortable so the staff at Chatter House could begin serving Appetizers & Drinks (set specially for the meet-up

Ambiance --

As soon as you enter the pub is a brick wall which has the logo of Chatter House. I do not know if anyone has observed the logo carefully but there is twig (branch like) coming out from one side which makes the logo look like a chat bubble. The interiors create a magical vintage feeling with posters of old films framed on the brick walls, large screens telecasting sports channel, bar with high stools,  an in-house DJ who plays the latest music, old English clocks hanging on the walls, a vintage phone, brick pillars, wooden floor and ceiling. Beautiful chandeliers provide perfect lighting. On one side of the restaurant is a foos-ball table and on the other side there is an open seating arrangement with garden chairs (metal chairs).

Desserts --

  • Tiramisu with Expresso shot - Good for people who love coffee. The biscuit was so crisp and light that when I dipped it in the expresso shot, it melted in my mouth. However the mascarpone cheese which is made from cream was not so fresh. Rating 3/5
  • Gooey Chocolate Cake with Coffee Ice cream - A thin layer of chocolate cake with molten chocolate in the center and a decent icing. Rich, fudgy and not too heavy. Rating 4/5
