QD's - Every Diners Paradise

The first thing that caught my eye was the name of the Restaurant: QD's

Out of curiosity I asked our server what QD’s stands for? There was no such explanation that I could get.

But if I have to define QD's– I will call it - Quintessentially Diverse.

Located in East Delhi, near Laxmi Nagar, this outlet of QDs is one among 4 outlets in, the others being located in Satya Niketan, Hudson Road and Kirti Nagar. This particular outlet is located amidst chaos and mayhem, courtesy the never ending traffic of our capital city. Yet one comforting service offered by QDs , Valet Parking. Too bad for me, because by the time I found out I had already spent 20 minutes hunting for parking space. So, keep in mind the fact that QDs offers valet parking, trust me its bliss.

The ambience here is peppy and vibrant. A urban reddish theme is embedded across the restaurant which will make you feel cozy and warm.

While screening the menu I was taken aback, as QD’s covers almost all that you can imagine when it comes to food. It offers one of the most diverse menus I have ever come across.

Think of a day when you want to eat out but can’t decide what your palate craves. Take our advice and visit QDs.

We started off with refreshing drinks and shakes, which re-energized us. QD’s offers a variety of Shakes and coolers. The highly recommended shake is the QD’s Chocolate monster – A pure thick chocolaty blend which will make you feel Choco-trippy. Also the Hawaiian Gold Spritzer and the Fresh Fruit Sangria are amazing. Sadly, the Fresh Fruit Sangria can only be ordered as a pitcher. But for those health freaks, you can binge it down in no time as it’s fresh and fruity.

Chicken Lasagna (Garfield’s Favorite dish – Mine too)
Butter Chicken Platter
QD’s Special Pizza
Tandoori Momo
Nachos Platter with Chicken (A Mexican Delight)
Classic Chilly Chicken
Fish Tikka
Cheesy Penne Pasta (Pesto Sauce)

For me, the dishes with the most accolades were the Chicken Lasagna and the Cheesy Penne Pasta. (A must try for sure)

Chicken Lasagna

The Tandoori Momo were outstanding.

Tip: Tandoori Momo are recommended over Steamed Momo any day. Reason being that the Maida (Wheat Flour) in the steamed Momo is semi-cooked and is hard to digest. On the other hand Tandoori Momo are baked in a Tandoor which is well cooked and is healthy and delicious as well.

The Nachos Platter with chicken vanished within seconds. A healthy starter to order here which you can keep munching on and on.

The Butter Chicken platter was nothing exceptionally great but can be ordered by butter chicken fanatics. It won’t let you down.

Also the QD’s Special Pizza was a thin crust treat, which was loaded with toppings. Though the menu does not have much of variety in its Pizza section which was disappointing.

Lastly we ordered the RED VELVET and TRIPLE CHOCOLATE SUNDAE. The sundaes sealed the deal, of a great meal.

Imagine exploring dishes of various cuisines like Continental, Chinese, Thai, Tibetan, Indian and a tinge of Mexican as well. The right place to visit and binge on food with loads of friends.

For all those with a sweet tooth, QD’s also exhibits an exclusive assorted pastry section which comprises of

The Red Velvet and The Dark Forrest among others.

The service was flawless and spot on and the staff was very courteous in answering our queries.

As a true foodie, what I seek other than good quality food is good quantity food as well. And QDs didn’t let me down. It sent me be back home with a smile on my face and a full stomach.
