Family Dhaba in Noida Sector 18

Dhaba at Atta (sector 18 noida) is a perfect guide of the highway based theme serving delectable food from North India. A great addition and a place you can count on for good food, at sector 18.

The restaurant is covered with Dhaba style interiors. As soon as you enter you see a huge truck engine on your left with Sunny Paaji sitting on the drivers seat. Lyrics from the song "Mae nikla Gaddi leke" started humming in my ears. There's a gas station in the center, a vintage style air filling machine, beautifully showcased Uttar Pradesh Map and Punjabi dolls hanging on the walls. The ambience is true to its name. You will find Pom Pom balls hanging on the chairs. The tables have funny dialogues with pictures depicting them.

Dhaba at Atta, shows the hard-work and detailing of the owners. The essence of their taste has crafted a wonderful place to dine with your family and friends.

Food Talk

We were greeted with a shot of their refreshing drink. Typically, when you visit someone's house, after greeting and making oneself comfortable, the first thing that you ask for is "What will you have?" (giving them the option of Hot/Cold Beverage) and your guest says 'Kuch Nahin.'

Dhaba at Atta, has an answer to the statement 'Kuch Nahin' -- they have a beverage called 'Kya Chahiye Kuch Nahin' which is also their Signature beverage. We ordered it with the famous Kala Khatta (chusky) -- tangy, sour and chilled. Both were good and refreshing.

For starters we began our food journey with Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Platters.

The Vegetarian platter consists of 4 pieces each of Dahi ke kebab, Paneer (cottage cheese) Tikka, Haryali Kebab, Tandoori Paneer (cottage cheese) and Soya Chaap.
Soya Chaap and Haryali Kebab were the best.

As from the Non Vegetarian Platter, we loved Murgh Tikka, Murgh Malai Tikka and Kukad Kebab.

For the main course, we ordered the basics. Dal Makhani (creamy and very light), Malai Kofta (fluffy kofta balls), Chicken Rara (favourite), Butter Naan and Lucknow Mutton Biryani (favourite -- tender, juicy and good chunks of mutton).

Desserts consisted of Gulab Jamun and Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream. Drooled over their in-house baked brownie.

The servers are friendly, courteous and are well versed with the menu. Their smiling faces makes the atmosphere more colorful.

I would definitely go back to try more dishes from the menu.
